Product Care
The following information is a guide on the best way to care for and prolong the life of your Country Pet products.
Collars & Leads: Dry brush any dried dirt from the product then use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining dirt. Do not machine wash. To care for your leather avoid getting it wet wherever possible, tissue dry and allow it to dry naturally (do not use a radiator or heat source). Leather will naturally soften and darken with use. To care for the hardware avoid getting wet wherever possible and dry thoroughly with a tissue if any part does come into contact with mud or water. Over time, due to the vigorous nature in which the collars and leads are used, hardware can lose its gold colouring.
Tweed Coats: Hand wash recommended. In the case of machine-wash; stick velcro together & wash at 30 degrees and do not spin or tumble dry. Tweed coats should be dried naturally.
Quilted Coats: In the case of machine-wash; stick velcro together & wash at 30 degrees and do not spin or tumble dry. Coats should be dried naturally.
Waterproof Coats: In the case of machine-wash; stick velcro together & wash at 30 degrees and do not spin or tumble dry. Coats should be dried naturally
Dog Toys: Dogs should be supervised with tuff toys. Should your dog tear their toy remove it from them instantly. Country Pet dog toys are “Interactive Dog Toys”. These are toys that your dog will interact with rather than laying down and chewing. Interactive toys provide mental stimulation and training opportunities. Interactive Toys are only available when a play session is initiated by you. Your dog shouldn’t have free access to interactive toys.
Tweed Bed: Machine-wash separately. Wash at 30 degrees and do not spin tumble dry. Tweed Beds should be dried naturally.
Waterproof Beds & Mats: Cleaned by hosing down or brushing/wiping off.
Berber Bed: Machine washable at 30 degrees. With Removable outer cover. Please dry naturally.
Cushions: Remove cover and turn inside out. Machine wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse.
Wear and tear: Please check your dog’s products regularly for any signs of damage. When a product begins to show signs of wear they should be removed from your dog. In particular dog toys should be removed once torn open to remove the choking hazard. Collars and leads should no longer be used if they show any signs of damage. All dog products should only be used under supervision and at the owner's discretion.
